What is temporary visitor visa?
Temporary visitor visa is a type of visa which is issued to a person visiting family or friends or going to a business trip. Basically, the applicant has to apply to Japanese embassy or consulate to obtain this visa, however some countries and regions such as United States, Hon Kong, are exempt from visa application.

How to apply
The applicant has to submit application to Japanese embassy or consulate in one’s country. The applicant can apply for visa by him/herself, although it is desirable that the applicant has one’s inviter in Japan. The inviter must be Japanese or person with proper visa of Japan. The applicant has to prove that he/she has enough money to travel Japan.
